Senior SAP Administrator – SAP Basis / Portal / PI

Our Public Sector client is currently seeking one Senior SAP Administrator. This is a 12-month contract opportunity slated to begin immediately. You’ll provide on-site technical support for the City’s existing SAP ERP (dual stack), SAP Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, SAP Business intelligence, SAP Mobile Infrastructure, SAP E-recruitment and Netweaver development infrastructure implementations.

Deliverables:

• Analyze system logs, performance metrics and recommend/implement improvements
• Modify SAP system parameters to improve system performance
• Perform SAP software installation on Unix and Windows servers
• Assist Support Centre staff with problem resolution
• Perform system refreshes, capacity planning and database administration
• Apply transports and OSS Notes
• Perform kernel upgrades, install support packages  
• Schedule background jobs, operation modes
• Configure printers, single sign-on, remote function calls, external commands and other routine BASIS administration tasks
• Perform administration for Portal, PI servers and ERP system
• Configure solution manager and perform basis administrative support via the solution manager tool
• Manage SAP Correction and Transport System
• Provide knowledge transfer to City resources and update documentation

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as SAP BASIS Administrator, in particular with the following software versions:
• Minimum 3 years in a UNIX/Oracle environment
• Minimum 1 year in Windows / Oracle environment
• Minimum 1 year with database version Oracle10g or higher
• 2 years with SAP ECC 6 or higher version, dual stack ERP system preferred
• 2 years of experience as BASIS admin in a production support environment
• 1 year supporting SAP Enterprise Portal version EP 6.0 or higher
• Experience with SAP Authorizations
• Experience with SAP MI 7.1 preferred
• Experience with SAP E-recruitment preferred
• Experience with SAP Process Integration 7.1 preferred
