System Tester (s)

Systems Tester(s) 4

Our Public Sector client is currently seeking four (4) QA Systems Tester. This is a 2-month contract opportunity slated to begin in mid/late January, it also comes with a 1-year renewal option.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have experience within the last 10 years in full SDLC
• Experience with C#, ASP.net and SQL
  
• Experience using software testing methodologies including: unit testing, system testing, regression testing
• Testing applications connected to Oracle 7 or higher
• Experience in automating software testing
• Experience writing test cases and test plans
• Experience testing web applications
• Experience with Agile software development using Scrum
• Full MS Office experience
• Must have experience using HOT2000 simulation software
• * have experience in building science
  

*Note: The testers will be testing an application which main purpose will be to model houses and calculate the energy efficiency of houses. So in order to reduce the ramp-up time, testing candidates will understand the concept of a "house as a system", understand how a house is built, what the different components of a house are, what HVAC and R-12 insulation mean, etc. Experience doesn't have to be work experience, a candidate may have designed his/her house and supervised its construction, he/she may have made energy efficiency upgrades to a house etc.
