Senior Technology Recruiters
The successful candidate(s) will join a small team in our downtown Toronto office. Our client base is in both the public and private sectors. We operate with an entrepreneurial mentality while still being supported with all the resources and tools of a large multi-national organization.
ABOUT THE GIG:
- Recruiting, hiring and placing IT professionals in contract and contract-to-hire positions with our clients
- Identify high-caliber candidates based on job requisitions provided by our Account Managers using our proprietary ATS Applicant Tracking System, Job Boards, Employee Referrals, Placement Ads on Monster, LinkedIn and/or other social media sites
- Working with an experienced team of Account Managers you will be responsible for writing and insuring compliance on bids in response to client RFS, RFP and Call-Up requests
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
- Ensures dedicated on-going communication with applicants during the recruitment process
- Managing ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates
- Engaging in relationship building and networking activities with Account Managers to develop additional sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders including Hiring Managers and External Vendors
- Providing consistent communication and career guidance to candidates
- Participating in industry trade associations to increase our presence within the local IT community
- Develop candidate pipelines using our proprietary ATS Applicant Tracking System
REQUIREMENTS: What would prepare you for success on our team?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Recruiter servicing Private and Public Sector clients
- Knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing , legal requirements, security clearance, job analysis, relationship management, and due diligence
- Previous experience with cold calling and qualifying candidates for IT Professional Services
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong work ethic and professional integrity that mirrors the values of Wirehead
- Previous experience with Government procurement methods and supply arrangements
- Previous experience with the proposal process, RFS-RFP bid preparation, grid / matrix writing, familiarity with IT professional staffing pricing and quality assurance on bid responses
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and consultative selling success
- Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level
NICE TO HAVE:
- Knowledge of Employment Laws in Canada
- CHRP
- Experience in College Hiring and in implementing a College Relations program
- Knowledge and past use of a server-based ATS applicant tracking system
