Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Our Public Sector client is currently seeking one (1) Senior Quality Assurance Specialist for a 6 month contract. The QA Specialist will provide the variety of different dynamic verification by performing system integration and load testing between SAP and other systems. This is critical to ensure that DoJ has the capacity to complete the testing cycle and respect the project timeline. Also, to ensure the defect corrections and new business requirements are properly tested, and the test scenarios, plans and scripts are documented according the industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory Requirements

• Min 10 years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Specialist as the main role
• 7 years of experience leading the QA team
• 5 years of experience of integration testing for multiple applications

• Microsoft Windows 2008
• VMware ESX 4.1 and up
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008
• Crystal Report
• SQL Server 2008 BI Tools
• Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7
• Version 2007 and up
• VB
• SAP version

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development of system integration test plans, test scripts and test data
• Validate and mange the QA team test results
• Participate in application functional and technical design reviews
• Perform system integration, load and regression testing
• Identify and document application defects
• Work with development and business teams to resolve application defects
• Provide recommendations regarding testing processes
• Perform knowledge transferring to DoJ employees
• Test strategy document
• Test plans, test scenarios, test scripts
• Test data sets
• Test results database
• Knowledge transfer sessions
