Project Manager & Change Management Lead – ERP /SAP
Our Public Sector client is currently seeking one (1) Project Manager and Change Management Consultant for a 6 month contract. This individual will be in a lead role to oversee and incorporate all Business changes and Systems changes into an overarching Change Management Strategy. All duties will be performed by applying industry standard project management principles, methodologies and best practices. The incumbent will provide expert advice and support for business engagement and communications. This individual will work with and advise the Project Director and the Project Management Office during the duration of the contract.
QUALIFICATIONS: Mandatory Requirements
- 60 months in the last 12 years of demonstrated experience working as a change management or business transformation consultant on a related ERP project or as an SAP Support team member
- 18 months experience in the last 60 months in a lead role for either Business Change Management, Communications or Training (manager, team lead or lead consultant) on a Business Transformation or IT projects for a public sector organization
- Must have a PMP certification and an ITIL certification
NICE TO HAVE: Desirable Skills
- Experience delivering change management services to medium- to large-scale project initiatives
- Undertaken a lead role in the planning and development of training for an ERP that supports finance and material management
- 5 years experience working in a Public Sector organization
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead clients at the strategic and tactical levels to support overarching Project Change Management requirements
- Create a detailed MS Project Plan and Schedule that documents the overall end-to-end Change Management project tasks involved in the implementation of new business and system functionality
- Implement a risk management process to manage project risks associated with Change Management activities on an on-going basis
- Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations to the Executive Project Committee (Steering Committee)
- Report on project risks, issues, milestones and mitigation strategies to be submitted to the Project Director for consideration
- Notify the Communications team where Project initiatives will impact business and system changes to ensure pertinent information reaches internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization and the organizations clients
- Provide advice and guidance to Project Director on specific transition initiatives to support the process of change towards developing a successful and stable environment
- Provide consultative services to the Project Director in the delivery of the project’s overall Organizational Change Management (OCM) deliverables
