IBM Tivoli System Administrator

Our Public Sector client is currently seeking one (1) IBM Tivoli System Administrator for a 1 year contract. The Project involves thedesign, configuration and implementation of Transaction Level performance monitoring for two critical applications.  This is to be done making use of the integrated Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring tool in use.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10 years experience in implementing, troubleshooting and /or administration of Tivoli based Enterprise Systems Monitoring solutions
• 2 Years experience in implementing solutions with the following technologies:
• IBM Tivoli Netcool Omnibus
• IBM Tivoli Monitoring (ITM)
• IBM Tivoli Network Manager/IP Edition
• Tivoli Business Services Manager (TBSM)
• Tivoli Applications Dependency and Discovery Manager (TADDM)
• SNMP based monitoring using Tivoli suite components
• Experience in implementing solutions with ITCAM for transactions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical recommendations in written format
• Implement solutions to address the needs of our clients
• Develop and maintain the related documents listed for the IBM Enterprise Systems Management solution or as required by the TA
• Assist in requirements data gathering workshops
• Assist in solution design and development workshops
• Assist with the installation, configuration and integration of IBM enterprise systems monitoring components
• Provide technical knowledge transfer and best practices verbal or written notes to the TA
